On an approach of framing analysis and ideological analysis, this thesis analyzes the coverage of migrant worker's demanding-wages-paid issue. It has found out three media frames, including the frame of Policy & Political Performance, the frame of Law & Rights Protection, the frame of Dramatization, the frame of moralization. It has also found that media's framing have been influenced by six factors, including government, media's marketization, media type, media routine, professional recognition and season.Migrant worker's demanding-wages-paid issue is generalized to be a special type of issue in this paper, called Social Conflict of Interest Issue, which has been variously existed in contemporary China. The study also concludes four characteristics of how mainstream media representing the Issue to construct and retain the power relations in contemporary China.
