In our country, coal resource consumption is about 76% of the whole energy consumption structure, and coal is also the first source. Colliery Safety Monitoring and Controlling System is the most important means to guarantee the safety operation of coal mines, and it is also an important technological measure of modern management of coal mines. At the same time, gas explosions happen frequently in the coal mines, so it is urgent to improve the technologies and quality of Colliery Safety Monitoring and Controlling System.The paper suggests the design proposal to the problems of colliery safety monitoring and controlling system based on deeply investigation and study, which includes soft wares and hard wares system design of the principal computer, the subordinate computer and Communication and data error analysis. The design proposal realizes the data acquisition in the coal mines through single chip microcomputer and A/D. STC89C516RD and single chip as master control employs MODBUS to realize the communication between the mastery station and passive station, and voltage isolation module is applied to DAE to increase the anti-interference performance and reliability.The paper details the major functions of system implementation, including analog switch selection circuit, gain adjustable circuit, Signal Conditioning Circuit, A/D, VOL WGA-VI, data acquisition, real-time data display, data store, operating command response, print, sending message to alarm to the principle, receiving remote access capabilities of superior administrative organization. The system also realizes the following functions, such as continuous monitoring and data process to the safety of coal mines and various parameters of production, which really realize the information sharing, centralization of management. So it prevents gas explosion and other accidents effectively.The practice shows, the system is with high stability and accuracy. The paper is valuable whether in theory analysis or practice application.
