Information technology has become an essential way for modern manufacturing enterprises to improve their core competitiveness. However, the lack of attention to system modeling often results a lot of problems, such as information silos, and unable to get and express systematic demands accurately. Information system model is to understand the software system, to describe certain aspects of software through abstract, to provide frameworks of solving the problems in design, development and implementation for complex information systems through scientific, standardized, and graphical way.This paper analyzed advantages, disadvantages and the scope of three common modeling methods:IDEF, UML, Petri,and then proposed IUP integrated system modeling based on IDEF, UML and Petri nets.The method combines the IDEF method' accurate semanteme and easy to understand, UML method' object-oriented design and good software design support, Petri Nets method' characteristics of dynamic analysis. The model, which is comprehensive, continuous, provides a practical method of modeling for the construction of complex systems model. According to the conversion needs for IUP' internal models, this method made a research for the formal definition of IDEF, UML and Petri nets, a detailed analysis for mapping rules of IDEF, UML and Petri net modeling, and made possible formalistic transformation rules, which had a significant meaning to improve the correctness and high efficiency, and to reduce the loss of semanteme in model transformation.Based on B/S/D mode, using Oracle lOg as the database, Oracle 10g Application Service as an application server, Oracle Forms Developer as programming development tools, Oracle Reports Developer for report development tools, this programming bring about spare parts management and system maintenance in Asset Management System of Huaxi Group.After the practical application of testing in Huaxi Group, this system had achieved the design goals, such as:the whole process of controlling in spare parts management system, the improvement of accuracy and real-time in procurement of spare parts, reducing spare parts inventory, consumption and procurement costs, and so on. This system was well received.
