P2P is one kind of server clustering technology; it can improve the network band width for terminal nodes, the delay between source nodes to terminal nodes. Also, the technology fully deals with the data transmission band width between nodes. P2P can improve the performance of the entire media transmission system. In the same time, it can distribute flow media data to each user for convenient accessing. In this way, P2P is suitable for very large-scale online user groups. This dissertation uses P2P and CDN to design a media selection and broadcast service system for the Zhujiang Network Company. This dissertation first discusses the present situation and the problems existing in QQLive product selection and broadcast based on the peer-to-peer network. Based on the discussion, flow media selection and broadcast system's main functions and processes are discussed. Then, the architecture of the system is analyzed in detail. And some core sub-systems including the client programs, network transmission, data storage, and server programs are designed using the modulation methods. In addition, the chip selection algorithm and media dispatching algorithm are proposed to improve the efficiency of the system. Moreover, this dissertation discusses the structure algorithm, the integration and implementation of client programs and server programs in depth ail based on P2P technology. Finally, the application of the system to the QQLive product is analyzed.
