| Recently, with the rapid development of the modern industry and the science and technology. In increasingly and various fields, it is playing an important role that the Embedded technology developing and the Embedded System applied. Along with the development of Embedded Systems, the handheld devices are also developed rapidly. Especially, it is very concerned to the major manufacturers that the development of the smartphone. However, in the past, the smartphone manufacturers are developed its owner smartphone software system by themselves. Since Google launched an opened platform for smartphone Embedded System, the major smartphone manufacturers are also competing to participate in the group for developing the Embedded System and hoped that the smartphone system can be applied to their owner products. Our company received an order that we will develop Google Android system for the other company. So i decide to write paper that i will develop Embedded System-Google Android system porting and application development, and i hope that the system is ported to real physical device.At first, I will introduce the Android system, Embedded Linux System hardware architecture and kernel structure, then describes the method and the process of the basic Embedded Linux porting to target machine-the ARM9 (mini2440 development board) system, and explains how to build portable environment, how to make cross-compiler Toolchain, how to make Bootloader, and describes Bootloader's the structures and the functions, as well as introduce the Embedded Linux root file system, Because Android System based on Embedded Linux, I will spend some contents in introducing how to porting Embedded Linux to demo board mini2440, At last, I will introduce that how to porting Google Android to target platform and how to develop Android application software, the results indicates that the method is feasible, the Android system work very well on target platform. |
