Shanghai Joyzone Networks is operating real-time online game "CTRacer" developed by Hyundai Digital Inc in Korea. This game puts forward very high requirement on the network because it has high speed car chasing and fierce competitions between online players dynamically. However current online game platform of Joyzone is based on a network shared by Chinese telecom operator giants such as China Telecom and Unicom; due to network traffic, players often feel pain of slow down such as non-smooth picture frames and sudden moving cars, especially during the Internet rush hours. Sometimes players even have to re-logon because of abrupt disconnection of network. Furthermore, when Joyzone tries to implement some newer operation models, like zone-based operation, more issues show up because of the network problems. Therefore it becomes very important for Joyzone to construct an online game platform that can operate crossing different telecom operators.First, the weakness of current online game platform of Joyzone is analyzed while dealing with the insufficient network environment and the importance of online game platform crossing different telecom operators based on distributed database is discussed. And it is analyzed the necessity of constructing an online game platform crossing different telecom operators.Based on it, the main functions of the online game platform are discussed, including the business processes of user account charge, data synchronization, etc., followed by the system architecture is analyzed and the core sub-systems such as member management, billing and data synchronization are designed in detail.Meanwhile, the main focus is put on the design of data distributed and the transparent access of the distributed data. Then the comparison between this platform and other commercial platforms is done. Finally, the analysis on the effect of the platform is performed.
