Moving beam is a key function component of forging hydraulic press. The on-line detecting system of the moving beam eccentricity of forging hydraulic press is developed and researched in this paper, directing to its eccentricity lack effective test facilities. In view of the mechanical features of forging hydraulic press and its special working conditions, according to the essential requirements of the detecting system, researched and compared the on-line test scheme of the moving beam's eccentricity on on-line detection and system communication modes two dimensions, finally, a new digital and non-contact method and equipment for detecting moving beam eccentricity is proposed; On the basis of analyzing vision detecting principle, binding experiment tests, accomplished the design calculation works of the detecting system, realized the structure and electric control system design of the detecting system; Image segmentation is the Key technology of vision inspection. An improved threshold adaptive method——grayscale strengthen method is proposed in this paper, which is based on conventional image segmentation methods, and direct to the spot special ray-intensity condition, and binding to the features of its target, a segmentation evaluate criteria due to the features of circular spot and a new exposure time adjust method are put forward;Achieved the soft design of the system in CCS3.3 platform, using the grayscale strengthen method to carry out the binary image processing,using the cancroids algorithm to realize the target's position calculation,implementing the system automatic calibration based on Zhang zhengyou calibration, and incorporate the original simultaneous displacement monitoring systems of the moving beam, established its mathematical model of space attitude measurements. A series of experiments are designed to test the performance of the detecting system, the results show that the detecting system can get ideal images segments,has high inspection accuracy,good real-time,could accommodate the locality complex using condition, and in the industrial field of 300MN forging hydraulic press we have detected data about the moving beam eccentricity, and get some regulars, filled the gap of the moving beam eccentricity of forging hydraulic press lacks effective test facilities, laid the foundation for further studies.
