Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is an electronic device which provides high quality and uninterruptible electronic power. It has been widely used in many fields. The capability of the on-line UPS is the best among all kinds of UPS. With the appearance of high performance DSP controller, digital control of UPS becomes a trend in its development. The dissertation focuses on the research of the digital online UPS in which TMS320F2812 is considered as the core chip. The dissertation introduces the retrospection and the classification of the UPS. Based on the point of the topology of the main circuit, the dissertation analyzes the characteristics of the respective power circuit of UPS. A detail analysis of APFC and invert segment is proposed, which are the most important parts in the UPS system. Continuous state-space model and discrete state-space model of inverter are established. The dissertation analyses the present control patterns of inverter. Taking into account that the disturbance and high frequency waveform of inverter output voltage appear periodically, this dissertation uses repetitive control to improve the steady state qualification of the inverter output and PI control to improve the transient qualification of the inverter output. This dissertation combines repetitive control and the traditional PI control technique and analyses the principle of repetitive control and parameter selection. It has studied by simulation used MATLAB software, and compared multiple control with PI control. Through the simulation results, it confirms that the multiple control has an excellent performance.Based on the theory analysis, the hardware implementation block diagram of the UPS system is proposed. It includes the power system design and the control system design used DSP. After the hardware implementation discussed above, the software design of the UPS system is also described.
