Knowledge-based economy brings opportunities to the library and information service, and it also poses a severe challenge. E.g., how to help the reader to obtain the required information from the complex information environment, and how to melting these informations? To solve these problems, innovative knowledge-based self-service was proposed. Competition in the age of knowledge economy is the competition of knowledge and knowledge innovation. Studying how to the offer knowledge service in high school library, not only can help students easily access the necessary knowledge and information to foster awareness of students, but also can improve information capabilities to meet the knowledge economy's rapid development.At present, the studies on knowledge of domestic and international services are limited in university libraries or the vast majority of professional business services. Knowledge services about the high school library study was relatively small. The school library as a universal quality education, is an important functional departments which should be with the times and focue on their advantages, so that knowledge service can speed up the quality of the education process.In this thesis, "School Library Knowledge Service" is the research topic. We use cognitive psychology, theory of knowledge services and communication to study this topic. Full-text is divided into five parts:The first part introduces the theory of library services and the proposed topics.The second part discusses the characteristics of knowledge services and the content.The third part shudys the reading rule of students based ontheir cognitive behavior. Through establishing the loan records of student, combining with cognitive behavioral characteristics of students, we analyzed the law of students borrow.The fourth part researchs the general pattern of knowledge services in school libraries and the strategy of how to improve the quality of knowledge services. By referencing to some other successful knowledge service model and empirical research, we creates a suitable secondary school library knowledge service model, and propose a solution for carrying out the obstacles.The fifth part o summarizes the research, and gives out the prospects.In the paper, through combining the service concept of knowledge with cognitive theory and introduced them to secondary school library services. we created a more complete knowledge of middle school students library service model. Which can be seen as a foundation of knowledge service for high school library.
