| Video system is now widely used in all aspects of social life. A stable and reliable video system is needed whether in the various traffic monitoring system or in the laboratory for research of image processing and video algorithm. With the development of technology and people's requirements, the video system of faster processing speed, greater compatibility and more extensive external expasion appears continuously in the market.Video surveillance system is more complex. It is a very broad concept, including hardware design, software design and algorithm design. The purpose of this dissertation is to complete video surveillance system hardware design and debugging. The main processing chip used in the video surveillance system is TMS320DM642 DSP provided by Texas Instruments (TI). System hardware design is as follows: the design of memory module, JTAG interface design, the clock system design, power module design, reset circuit design, video input and output module design, alarm circuit design and so on. At the same time, this video system also includes USB interface, Ethernet interface and so on, so that it can be developed again and upgraded later conveniently. The tool of hardware design is Protel DXP used widely which can easily complete system schematic design and PCB board design. The debugging of hardware design is to ensure that the system can achieve the desired results. The debugging is implemented mainly in the CCS environment provided by TI.Such system could be widely used in the areas of video surveillance and security, video conference and so forth, while providing a good platform for image and video algorithms. This thesis elaborates the hardware design and debugging of the system. The tool of hardware design is Protel DXP which is widely used. The debugging of the system is implemented mainly in the CCS environment provided by TI.Finally, this dissertation also summarizes the work, points out some deficiencies and things needed to be improved in the work, and forecasts the direction of research in the future. |
