Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar Echo Simulation Technology,

Echo simulation of Inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR) is an integration of ISAR and system simulation,the result of this echo simulation is a simulation echo signal which contains information of the moving target.This article describes the basic principles of the ISAR imaging first, including the turntable model and the motion compensation which contains the envelope alignment and the phase correction. Besides, we also analyze the feature of ISAR imaging, based on this feature, we get simulation echo signal of ISAR by generating envelope and phase of echo signal.Secondly, on the basis of establishing the radar target model, we get the process showing how ISAR simulation echo signal is formed through detailed formula. Then according to the technology of DRFM, the design of ISAR echo simulation hardware implement is put forward emphatically, we also do simple error analysis of the whole system. At last, we do simulation of the simulated echo signal data by MATLAB, the result confirms the validity of the method.The method of ISAR echo simulation technology and the design of ISAR echo simulation hardware implement based on the DRFM technology that presented in this paper provides an important theoretical basis and technical means for ISAR echo engineering.
