The passive millimeter wave radiometric imaging has the all day and all weather work capacity. Thus it can provide some information that the infrared and optical detectors can't provide. Furthermore it can also avoid the near-field blinking effect. So it can be used in both the military affairs and the civil affairs. The main works of this paper surrounds the passive millimeter wave imaging system structure, include of the radiation temperature test on different surface targets, image denoise, edge detection. They are shown as follows.1.The radiation target of passive MMV and imaging data analysis:The paper introduce the principle of passive millimeter wave imaging system structure. The work surrounds different antenna diameter 3mmDicke radiometer, test different radiation target, gain the date and conduct calibration. Then it analyses the data of calibration.2. Some of outdoor and indoor 3mm band imaging experiments can be applied for the targets detection and for the safety inspection of airport and so on. The passive MMW imaging has no emission and is safe for human body. In addition, MMW has some penetrability for clothes, cartons and so on. Thus MMW radiometer may detection the concealed targets.3. The denoising study of passive MMV imaging:Image denoise has important practical effect. The work using all sorts of arithmetic, denoise the MMW imaging. It also do some detail analysis to the arithmetic, and compare their applicability.4. The edge detection of passive MMV imaging:The picture's edge detection can measure DOA effectively. The work using all sorts of operators, edge the preprocessed image. It also can compare the data with different thresholds, and find the edge graphics' differences.
