This paper analyzes the history and current situation of digital watermarking and trademark anti-counterfeiting technology.According to the current situation, trademark counterfeiting phenomenon has been a serious reality, so this paper introduces a kind of embedded digital watermark detection device.This instrument takes the ARM processor as the core, with the gathering module, the man-machine interaction module, the transmission module unified. Firstly the device gets brand image through the camera, then carries on the watermark imagery processing and deals with the image in the processor, finally transmits the picture and the result to the terminal computer through the Ethernet port. The paper analyzes two frequence digital watermarking algorithms:DCT and DWT algorithm. Combined with the advantages of both DCT, DWT and the MATLAB simulation, we propose the DCT-DWT watermarking algorithm.Take advantage of the anti-rotation and anti-oblique correction before the detection, it plays a good role in the anti-attack.With the introduction of the hardware architecture, the detector includes ARM9 processor core, extended external memory,serial port,Ethernet port,JTAG port,keyboard and LCD interface.In the end,it adjusts and proves the image acquisition,watermark image correction,watermark detection and transmission modules in the Linux development platform.Finally, the paper summarizes the overall work and proposes improvements. The result of this study has great practical significance and a valuable reference for the security testing of trademark image.
