At present, many monitoring systems running in the factory are early developed. Because of the impact of the development of the software and the network technology, most of the configuration software has no function to distribute the real-time data, and it is impossible to achieve the integration and the shared of the data from production. Along with the development of the network technology and the society's progress, the enterprise is gradually transforming to the integration of the management and the control. It is an inevitable trend of development for the data from the management and the control to be shared and integrated. In this paper, a washery in Shanxi is taken as an application object. In view of the demand of the application and the status that the management is isolated from the control, the early automated system should be transformed. On this basis, an integrated system, which integrates the information from the management and the data from the control, shall be developed. The system not only distributes the industrial real-time data but also realizes the information management of the data from production.In this paper, the research work mainly includes two aspects. On the one hand, under the premis of guaranting the safety movement of the original system, it is to gain the field data from the monitoring system. Then the data is transmitted to the web server on which the real-time distribution of the data is realized. On the other hand, the information management system is developed to achieve the information management of the factory data. There four steps to complete the distribution of the field data. First the research on several ways of the data exchange (for example DDE, OPC, VBA, ODBC and so on) and the function provided by RSView32 should be carried on. The method of gaining the data is determined and the data will have been obtained. Secondly, taking into account the security of the monitoring system and the capacity of the process of data transmission, the serial port is choose to transmit the data deal with and packed to the web sever. Thirdly, the data which the receiver of the serial port receives is temporarily stored in the COM server. When needed, they are read and written through the interface function of the COM server. Finally, the distribution of them is completed by some module of the information management system, which runs on the web server. They are distributed in the forms of the real-time picture and the tendency chart. The real-time picture is distributed by supplementing the real-time data on the monitoring background grasped from the monitoring system. The real-time tendency chart and the historical tendency chart are described by calling methods of the JavaScript script. The architecture of the information management system is in the form of Browser/Server. After the data from the laboratory, the production and the scheduling and the request from the user are analyzed, a modeling tool called Power Designer is used to establish a database of the system. In the platform of the database, The VS2005 is used to develop the information management system. The system has achieved a lot of features, which includes the inputting of data, the querying of data, the process of report and the distribution of the data and so on. In addition, there are common features to be achieved, such as users, news, message, notices and so on.The actual test indicated that the plan of the system is feasible and the movement of the system is stable. In this paper, the method used has a lot of versatilities. The monitoring system, which is developed by using the configuration software supporting OPC specification, can use it to realize the web distribution and the sharing of the field data. It has no limit on the number of client to use the method, which is both economical and practical.
