By Bee Groups Inspired By The Study Of Group Decision-making Methods

Group decision-making has many advantages such as wide information sources, various optional schemes, full use of collective wisdom, effective mobilizing the enthusiasm of participants, improving the accuracy of decision-making, ensuring the fairness of decision-making, enhancing the cohesion of organizations and so on. Hence, it is becoming increasingly important and attracting more and more attention which has been used in the fields of social organization and economic life. But the swarm intelligence of honeybee swarm has been fully reflected on migration, foraging and other decision-making questions. In the paper, a human group decision-making method inspired by honeybee colony is presented through the researching on group decision-making method of honeybee swarms on the basis of the group decision-making and swarm intelligence theory.A formal description of decision-making behaviors and process of honeybee swarms is presented through researching and extracting the decision-making process and behaviors of honeybee swarms when they are selecting the best site from plenty of optional ones. The model of group decision-making method of honeybee is constructed. Experimental simulations in view of honeybee swarms of different attributes show that it is effective. Then by comparing and analyzing the relation and similarity between honeybee colony and human group of group decision-making, the model of group decision-making method based on honeybee is constructed. Through the experimental simulations, the effectiveness of the method is showed.
