Airglow is one of the most important natural luminescence of space optical radiation, therefore the airglow detection has broad application prospects in scientific research and space exploration. Atomic oxygen airglow detector detects emission intensity of oxygen atoms green line (557.7 nm) and oxygen atoms red line (630.0 nm) in the visible light, to provide important scientific data. We designed an atomic oxygen airglow detector including optical systems, detector systems and electronic system. The control system is a part of the electronic system, and it is very important in the instrument design. Here we mainly discussed the control system part of the detector.In the research of the atomic oxygen airglow detector prototype development, the detector control system is one of the core parts, which is mainly used to process the image signal from the CCD device, and translate the signals to digital signal and then send them to computer. This thesis introduced the background and present research status of the subject, both in domestic and abroad field, and introduced all parts of the detector in detail. According to the principle of Array CCD of Frame Transfer, kinds of noise of CCD and eliminate method are clarified, especially combined with the characteristic of KTC noise, noise embarrassment can be restrained by the correlated double sampling technique, and be used in the control system hardware circuit design, which is designed to make it possible to enlarge the output image signal of CCD, restrain noise by the correlated double sampling technique, and transfer the image signal into digital data by ADC. DSP controls the whole system to insure data transforming and other functions. The software design and related sub-procedure of this system are also introduced, and the whole system has been debugged. At the end of this thesis, the stage work is summarized, and improving proposal is also given as reference to the future work.
