Abstract/Summary:
Oxygen is an essential element for human life,and under some special circumstances,oxygen deficit can threaten human health.Therefore,portable oxygen devices which can work continuously and stably become an urgent demand for oxygen-deficient people.Pressure Swing Adoption(PSA)for oxygen has been widely applied to medium and small oxygen devices for the characteristics of low energy consumption and non-pollution.Right now,most of the domestic oxygen devices cannot meet different oxygen-deficient people’s needs for its large volume,high weight and single oxygen supplying mode.Therefore,launching the research of portable oxygen concentrator by PSA is significant for the improvement of the techniques in China’s micro-oxygen field and meet people’s oxygen needs in different environments.In this paper,a process of producing oxygen system has been established according to PSA oxygen technique which used air as crude material to achieve oxygen producing.A control system used MCU C8051F310 as the core has been found,which consists of producing oxygen system,electric source management system,pulse respiratory oxygen supplying system,control system of air compressor,man-machine interactive system,alarm system and so on.This control system can upgrade the endurance and steadiness of portable oxygen concentrator,especially for the pulse respiratory oxygen supplying system.According to the change of the pressure and air flow during the respiratory,the micro differential pressure switch detected the change of the breathing pressure,and then the MCU controlled the electromagnetic valve to realize pulse oxygen delivery.This system saved energy,reduced oxygen consumption,and enhance the efficiency of oxygen concentrator.The structure of the oxygen concentrator was designed based on Solidworks,which optimize the inner room,reduce the body volume and increase the portability of the oxygen concentrator.To ensure the oxygen concentrator works securely,this paper did the static and optimization analysis for the main units of oxygen system such as absorption column,air compressor and the machine’s frame,and also did the modal analysis of printed circuit boards with ANSYS.The portable oxygen concentrator mainly consists of air intake unit,air compressor unit,absorption column integration unit,oxygen supplying unit and control system.The flow rate of oxygen concentrator is 1-3L/min,the oxygen concentration is 50%-93%,the weight is 4.5kg,the external dimension is 155×225×239mm,the power source is AC 220 V or DC 12-16 V,and the power is 60 W.The advantage of the portable oxygen concentrator designed on the basis of PSA oxygen technique is low weight,small volume,stability,portability and the function of continuous oxygen supply and pulse oxygen.It can be applied to medical aids,oxygen therapy,highland oxygen supply,vehicle mounted oxygen supply and so on.In short,it has wide application prospect.
