This paper mainly designed the software platform based on the hardware platform of the S7-200 training system. It serves for the PLC experiment teaching, And for the projects related to PLC. And also solved the problem exists in the PLC experiment teaching. It enhances the students' ability of designing the PLC control system.This paper analyzes the present situation of the PLC training system. Then design the software platform of the S7-200 training system. It mainly includes the management software, monitoring software and controlled plant simulation software. Then the author has solved the communication between LabVIEW and USB. And conclude the way to simulate controlled plant using LabVIEW. This PLC training system is intent to exercise students' ability to design the control system step by step. It's constituted three level experiments. In the first and second part using LabVIEW simulate the controlled plant. In the third level experiments parts author have solved the communication between SIMIT and USB. Then has analyzed the simulation controlled plant principle and technical and conclude the way to simulate controlled plant using SIMIT.At present, the S7-200 PLC training system has been put into use, which enhances the study condition of undergraduates, improves the automation teaching level of colleges, and trains a large number of qualified persons for the society.
