Armed helicopter which is active in the low altitude as a sword for its unique capacity and mobility, has brought tremendous challenges to the traditional air defense system since attends war. Anti-aircraft artillery is important to all countries, for its economy, anti-interference ability, mobility and technological superiority, especially in dealing with rapid goals in the short-range or goals in the complex environment of the low altitude. With the continuous development of the computer simulation as well as the three-dimensional graphics technology, it's possible to simulate the flight movements of helicopters, as well as tracking the maneuvering target.First of all, the flight dynamics model is developed in the body coordinate system, through using Newton's universal law. The mathematic model of the helicopter is simplified to a vertical model by ignoring the vertical and horizontal coupling. A vertical climb campaign has been simulated on the MATLAB. Secondly, several typical motor subjects have been simulated. Finally the visual simulation for a helicopter flight movement has been established, which make a dual-channel multi-view display through using the visual-driven software OpenGVS.The network monitoring system based on C/S architecture has been established in this dissertation. The host computer simulates the movement of target helicopter, and the client simulates target tracking. Two methods are used to simulate the movement of the target. One is achieved by a pre-flight route, which is generated by the tactical simulation module; the other is real-time control through the joystick. Through the study of video transmission on the network, the dynamic images are achieved to acquire, compress and transmit. In order to transmit a large number of dynamic images by real-time, the transmitting images are compressed by the style of JPEG.Experiments show that the developed software of helicopter's visual simulation works well. It meets the requirements of the helicopter flight simulation. Through the operating, the distributed target tracking system can achieve real-time video transmission and control the point of view through network.
