Banks Open Platform Performance Management System Design And Realization

As the extension and expansion of the core business system of mainframe, open system has gradually become a new growing point for large banking business development. In order to have in-depth understanding and follow-up of the production system operation condition, we need to collect the configuration setting information and operation data of operation system, database and middleware, as well as the operation data of application system regularly. By conducting specified analysis and follow-up on overall operation condition of application system, we can find out the potential problem timely and tackle it to protect the safe operation of our banking production system.This dissertation firstly summarizes the current status of banking open system, listing the advantages and common problems of its application system. For example, it has diversified types and been more flexible than mainframe. But the verification and flexibility of the platform and system structure, and the products to different companies will increase the difficulty on management. In order to manage the application built on the complicated system platform, the dissertation raises the concept to adopt a specified applicable monitor system and build a functional management platform applying CTP technology and B/S structure. The achievements for this dissertation will be resulted from:i) Building a open monitor system applying B/S structure, including functional models like system management, data management, application monitor, individual setting-up, which enables to realize mass data collection on multiple systems, monitor of pre-alarm system, custom-built query, diagram display, statistical report and etc.ii) Collecting statistical data daily from the system, which can provide users of development center every operation status timely, as well as the necessary evidence for the afterwards follow-up production problem. It is a window to understand the production environment system operation status for development center.iii) Realizing more than ten monitoring functions for ICBC's main business line systems, including PCM2003,PCRM,FCF,GCF, etc. This system can display information in different types accordingly to different application characters and monitor requirements.iv) improving performance on collecting data efficiently and sufficiently. Previously, development center obtains operation data by providing script to data center. The open monitor system can lighten the workload for frontline staffs, collect monitor data timely and conduct preliminary integration and analysis.v) more convenient control for administrator to produce system structure maintenance, set parameter on functions like monitor and pre-alarm, and maintain statistical report by using the open monitor system, which will provide solid technical guarantee for system sustainability and usability.
