Magnetron which has either no output power or no Ib is induced by insufficient suction in the bulb. Whether the suction is sufficient depends on the thorough effect of the material. This type of product will not have abnormal symptom within short time. However after going through various factors during the production process and after being stored for a certain period, the product begins to exhibit its abnormality.To address the problem of no output power or no Ib induced by thorough effect of the bulb, the addition of Eb in vacuum process can increase the bombardment of electron on the surface of anticathode, effectively adjust the anticathode temperature and achieve optimal thorough effect, which has been proofed by experiment. This will decrease the faction defective from 6% to 2% and even lower, reduce the amount of the no output power or no Ib products, and decrease the fraction defective of microwave producers off-line products.The main target of the research is a new vacuum technique of magnetron. That is to add Eb in vacuum process in order to completely degasify the vacuum valve of magnetron. The methods include:1. Study on the structure and mode of operation of carbonized thorium tungsten cathode, to understand the emission and activation mechanism of carbonized thorium tungsten cathode.2. Study on the processing technique of carbonized thorium tungsten cathode, adjust the carbonization processing and achieve optimal performance of cathode.3. Study on traditional vacuum equipment and technique, familiarize the structure, composition and mode of operation of vacuum equipment to find the defect of traditional technology.4. Reform of vacuum equipment, reform suction system, insulation box and oil pressure system of vacuum equipment. 5. Based on the reform of vacuum equipment, increase the voltage of anticathode, adjust optimal vacuum parameter in order to achieve complete thorough effect.6. Comparison between traditional vacuum technique and modern vacuum technique, conduct product anatomy to analyze direct current emission performance, throughout efficiency and rejection rate, end product performance and off-line faction defective of microwave producers.
