With the development of computer technology, people's demands have increasingly been met by the Application. And many more fields have gained benefit from the application of computer technology. Software reuse is a key way in the computer technology. It is always believed that the software reuse is an effective way to improve the software productivity. With decades of development, software reuse technology has made tremendous progress and significant achievements. Meanwhile, component technology is a great leap forward in the field of software reuse. So it is also an effective way to use component as a kind of reuse to develop software. However, object-oriented framework technology is another software reuse technology which most developers concern with. As a component of large granularity, which must be more useful than a component which just has one function module, it works better in the field of software reuse.A few researches have been conducted by the present thesis. This thesis also explores component technology and the object-oriented frame technology. Based on these researches, this study investigates the field of earthquake data processing by making full use of Qt, which is a mature and stable application framework. It also designs and materializes a frame system by applying technologies and methods related to the software reuse.The framework of the earthquake data procedure makes the variable parts under the control of the frame by encapsulating them into hotspots with the aid of Callback-Mechanism and Signal-Slot-Mechanism. By so doing, it optimizes the reused design.At last,the present thesis discusses the development of main frame system related to earthquake data processing. It provides the customers with a high cohesion data processing function which realizes project management, data management and procedure management. With the extended function, it is convenient to realize plug and play for every sub-modules and reduce the difficulties of late maintenance. Through testing, this earthquake data processing system frame has attained expected results.
