Object Framework Technology Research And Applications

Computer and network techniques have made a prosperous development in the past decades. With rapid increase in the complexity and requirements of software systems ,software development meets great challenges. Software engineers having been explored new techniques all the time to meet the demands of software development. But there is always a gap between the requirements and the software production. Software-reuse has engaged many people's attention since it was proposed in 1960's. People expect to composite software in the way of hardware manufacture. Although there are many obstacles in the procedure of reaching this goal,phase-progress has been made in some aspects. Function/procedure,system library and class library have been widely used in the programming,which increased the software productivity. But there are also many limitations which reuse restricted in the code. At the same time,we all know that coding is a small part of software production which only takes 20 percent. It will have a great effect on software production if we can reuse system analysis,design and test,which take a great part in the software production.Component technique has been the hotspot of software research at present. Component is a functional module that can be published independently and it consists of analysis case,design case and test case. These characteristics makes a great progress in the composite production of software. Object-oriented framework is a kind of great granular component,it consists of many general components,and it specifies the collaboration among these components. It's a general design of some applications. It comprises variable and constant parts,so we can get a specific application by specifying the variable parts. And then we can easily get an elegant,stable and efficient application by reusing a successful framework.Now it is still in a preliminary stage on the research of framework. We are also lack of systemic researches in the process of framework development. This paper studies the reuse techniques,framework techniques and the software process of framework. Focusing on Flood Control domain,we discuss how these techniques can be applied to the domain system design.
