Frequency-hopping communication has been widely used in modern communications, especially in military communication due to its advantages such as anti-interception, anti-interference and anti-jamming. With the development of signal detection technique, slow frequency-hopping systems are vulnerable to jamming attacks. Fast frequency-hopping system gains a better performance of robustness by transmitting one symbol in L( L≥1) hops.Shortwave fast frequency-hopping communication inherites fast frequency-hopping communication's anti-interception, anti-fading and anti-jamming ability and shortwave communication's strong survivability characteristics. So it is a hot topic research in recent years. In order to achieve normal communication between the frequency-hopping transmitter and the receiver, the two sides must send and receive information over the same frequency at the same time. Synchronization system is the core of the frequency-hopping communication system, and synchronization acquisition is the key to the entire synchronization process. In this paper, we focus on shortwave fast frequency-hopping system synchronization acquisition techniques.This paper studies the shortwave fast frequency-hopping system's synchronization acquisition techniques and synchronization system's software design:Chapter I introduces the development of the shortwave frequency-hopping communication technology and frequency-hopping communication's synchronization technology.Chapter II studies some synchronization acquisition algorithms which is suitable for shortwave fast frequency-hopping system and deducts their theoretical performances.Chapter III presents the simulation analysis of the four shortwave fast frequency-hopping synchronization acquisition algorithms'performances.Chapter IV chooses early-late door synchronization acquisition algorithm to design the shortwave fast frequency-hopping synchronization system.Chapter V provides the summary of the whole paper and several advices for further research as well.
