Based On Integrated Storage Management Platform Gui Test Automation Framework

Automation test has become the test technical developing direction, and the automation test technology also become one of the most important embranchment in test technology.One of the difficult point in automation technology is how to supply a test tool which holds strong ability in widget identifying. IBM's product, RFT is one of the test tool in the front ranks, which can identify html,java and VB.net programming interface. The script programming style has changed from RRC/playback to data driven,key word driven.The tool and script technology's development lead the automation test frame technology's coming.This thesis introduces the basic concepts and the theories of GUI automation test. Based on integrated storage management(ISM) platform, implement a GUI automation test frame which satisfies the current developing model. First, it describes the main concepts and realizing ideal, introduces system architecture and function design, discusses the effect which the automation test frame brought. At last, as the example in ISM's application, illuminate the economic income it brings.The innovation of this paper is adequately comprehending the teset concepts: testCase,testCluster and testSuit, and make use of these concepts realizing the automation testCases'management, and inject the data driven into scripts'programming method that separates the test data and test script, and layered structure makes automating test improve the test scripts'utilization and Maintenance. The automation test frame is bringing forward a new solution idea.
