Based On Soa, Workflow Technology

With the rapid development of computer technology and diversification of business processes,much work is implemented automatically by the computer in accordance with the processes rules.In particular,enterprise business is carried out by semi-automation or automation.Workflow technology is the effective technology to improve the efficiency of enterprise business processes and productivity.Although there are a lot of studying in a different perspective on the research and application of workflow technology in our country,much key technology issues need to continue to explore.Especially,enterprise information systems are mostly multi-platform or multi-system complex systems with a wide compatibility and supporting for cross-platform.In this case,the research on workflow modeling is relatively weak and some difficulties are created when an enterprise put in practice a workflow management system.In order to solve many system integration issues,the traditional integration mode is generally point-to-point mode,in which two systems provide interfaces to each other.So that in the mode there are more interfaces and the heavier workload of development.At the same time, the relationship of systems is close-coupled,and the maintenance and scalability of system is difficult.To avoid the disadvantages of this approach,a new kind of workflow model based on service-oriented architecture is given in this paper by the combination of SOA and the analysis of characteristics of existing workflow technology.This model combines the both advantages of service-oriented architecture and workflow technology.It can achieve the function needs of process integrations,as well as full use of existing resources,the reuse of software,unified interface specification,improved maintainability and scalability.We introduce the design process of workflow model in detail with the services-workflow mapping model to describe the.steps and methods of service encapsulation.Moreover,the formal descriptions of organization model and process model are given.By using relational algebra theory,we analyze the characteristics of organization model base on SOA and the relationship with Web Services.Service Process NET is used to describe how the process model is mapped to atomic services and combinational services.Furthermore, we make the structural analysis of Service Process Net.This service-oriented workflow technology combined with the diversity of business environment is an open,multi-level and cooperative workflow platform with stronger adaptability and scalability by using loosely coupled principles and BPEL4WS standards.On the above,this article analyzes and designs a work schedule management system based on SOA,which integrates the existing personnel management system with loose-coupled characteristics.It is fully displayed the practicality and usability of service-oriented workflow model and opens up an effective way for the implementation of enterprise management information in stages.
