Auto Body Is The Reverse Hybrid Design Technology Research

The development process of the automobile body can be classified as forward design and reverse design。The main difference of these two methods is that the 3-D model of the forward design is derived from the conceptual or product design while the reverse design builds the 3-D model by the data which is got from the practice test. The application of these two different processes depends on the diverse demand of the product development. For example, forward design can be applied in the development of a new car models. The reverse design usually is used in the improved design of existing products or if the cars have complex surface which is hardly to build a CAD mode. In that case, making a 3-D mode by model firstly to mold its appearance and then getting its CAD data mode conversely is accepted.This essay is structured by three parts. First, the essay expatiates on the status quo of the auto-body design. Secondly, it analyses the advantage and disadvantage of the two different design methods. Lastly, the combination of forward design and reverse design is discussed. The research based on the noise delete,data delete,point cloud multi-view registration,integration and adjustment theories, achieving the Data integration by the Minimum Inclusion Theme and finishing the calculation by Matlab software. The improvement of the data integration is convenient for the surface reconstruction and the partial amendment, it also can enhance the quality of surface reconstruction. Such improvement has a significant value in the practical application. Besides, the data of measure, data processing, surface reconstruction, surface fairing and so on.In the last part of this essay, the feasibility and superior of the hybrid modeling method are illuminated by case and the design scenario and process are given. The remodeling design of auto-body is fulfilled by the Imageware and Pro/E, which are wildly used in the mechanic design field, based on the speculative knowledge of the curve and surface. And the comments on remodeling designs are given eventually.
