With the rapid development of information technology, using information technology to promote teaching reform is a very important idea of current education reform. The management informationization of college counselors is an important content of education informationization. The Web-based management system of college counselors is one of the important applications of the Internet. It is of great theoretic meaning and realistic value to research into it. The target of this research is to create a B/S mode-based management system for the counselors of Luzhou Vocational & Technical College. This system is aimed at realizing the information interaction, collection and management among counselors, students, parents and Student Management Commissions, improving counselors'comprehensive, systemantic, timely and precise management and helping students become talented persons.By employing popular website design theories, design standards and development technology,such as Microsoft IIS6.0,ASP.NET2.0 and SQL Sever 2000, the thesis has analysed the working process and content of counselors in vocational and technical colleges,realized informationization of counselors'work and designed 18 functional modules of management system of their work: students'information, family information, contact directory,class work plan, class affairs management, curriculum schedule,class daily routines,class meeting record, class fee budget, attendence record, reward and penalty record, score management,health record,individual education record, students'important behavior record, underachievers'record, remark management, view-exchanging record and graduate management. The permission to browse and edit all kinds of information is rationally set and the privacy is completely protected. Finally, existing problems of the system and further improvements have been put forward.
