With the rapid development of science and technology, machine vision technology is used in industrial inspection. The machine vision technology which is used in PCB quality inspection appears with the background of Productivity continuing to rise. This dissertation introduces a embedded platform of machine vision which lays a foundation for the application of algorithms used in real-time image processing.1 Based on the working principle and features of the acquisition function of the PCB Inspect machine, the program of the system has been designed. The system consists of image acquisition module, image processing module, image display module and communication module, etc. One of the primary roles of the communication module is to send the processed image data to other transmission modules making some action.2 The hardware has been designed based on the design. According to the overall program, design each circuit of the system, and introduce the key parts. DSP is used as a core module for image processing so that the image data can be processed at the corresponding time.3 The relevant hardware drivers has been designed and compiled based on the hardware of the system. TI provides the DSP / BIOS tailored operating system and CSL as the way to design of the underlying driver, making the procedure of speed and consumption of hardware resources optimized.4 The operation of the entire platform has been tested .The hardware- driver program drive the hardware platforms to run.5 The experimental results have been compared with the theoretical results After finithed many experiments, the obtained data has been compared with the theoretical values. Analyzing the main factors that impact the speed in the program, we did a lot of optimization to the program.6 The application of the machine vision using in PBC inspection is a highlights.
