With the applications of network technology and automatic control technology in the central air-conditioning systems engineering, monitoring system of the central air conditioning system has developed towards intelligent and networking. When central air-conditioning creats comfortable environment for people, it also brings many issues such as maintenance and troubleshooting. There are inevitable various failures for air-conditioning running, which greatly increase the financial burden of all. Sometimes failure cannot be ruled out in a timely manner. The monitoring control is more important among many factors of impact on air-conditioning systems.Based on the analysis of the composition, working principles and characteristics of the central air-conditioning system structure, the thesis focuses on the research on its monitoring and fault detection. In order to design and implement remote monitoring system, the problemes which is necessary to solve for remote monitoring system is analyses. The principle, structure and general framework of the system design are prposed. The subsystem is divided into three main modules: verify landing system, site monitoring and control sub-system (the site subsystem) and remote data receiving and sending orders subsystem (remote subsystem). The monitoring system uses the the C / S model structure and the communication protocol of the SOCKET based on TCP / IP .The subsystem is mainly used through the VC programming. For information transmission security of remote control process, the use of PGP encryption combined with RSA, DES encryption algorithm achieves secure transmission of information. In the area of fault detection, the air-handling units in which the seven kinds of failure may be encountered are introduced. Based on comparative analysis of these existing fault detection methodes, CMAC neural network algorithm is proposed to detect fault of the main air handling units. Lastly the performance of the algorithm is simulated by the MATLAB.Through the design of the system, you can realize the entire control of the controlled computer. Then you can maintain system and modify parameterremotely, Simulation results show that CMAC neural network algorithm has a good network fault detection effect.
