Intelligent Video Surveillance Design And Implementation Of The Moving Object Detection

Intelligent video surveillance system is one of the most important issues in applied vision and moving image coding, and motion detection is the kernel technology of these systems. The research interest of moving objects detection is video sequence, i.e. image sequence. Object detection in videos involves verifying the presence of an object in image sequences and possibly locating it precisely.This design has analyzed the two consecutive frames subtraction, the background subtraction, the combine algorithm of frames subtraction and background subtraction. Then designed a motion detection software. This software used the DirectShow to preview, capture the real-time video, save the files, and playback them on screen. And using the three algorithms accomplished the motion detection and alarm. Moreover, used the adaptive illumination changes threshold segmentation algorithm to analyze the image, enhance the system adaptability of the environment illumination changes.Through the experiment, the analyzed detection results of difference illumination, like the nature illumination, the fluorescent lamp, and the weak illumination condition, etc., have been obtained. The experimental results indicated that system can detected moving objects stably in the indoor environment. Furthermore, it has a strong adaptability of the illumination condition changes, and can update background and motion detection alarm in time.
