With the continuous progress of human society, as well as the rapid development of computer hardware, the multi-core processor seems to be promising! During the period of information industry developing, the single-core processor has been found many limitations; multi-core processors have been brought dramatic changes, thereby resulting in more productivity advantages and excellent performance. To satisfy the current market needs in response to economic development, people have higher requirement on the speed of processors, of business computing which designed for the market value and power requirements. Integration is definitely the trend of multi-core processors development. The multi-core processors will be wildly used on the next generation of servers and the mainstream operating platforms. Therefore, multi-core processor-related technology research has great significance.At present, the multi-core technology has been playing an important role on the applications. It is important to research how to use the high-performance multi-core processors to solve those problems on the multi-threaded, parallel software development, software optimization, high-performance computing (HPC), multi-nuclear inter-communication technology research. Multi-threaded multi-core processor has been recognized as one of the most potential technology to improve processor performance by chip design firms.The key technology to multi-core processor is nuclear inter-communication which is the hot area of computer architecture. Major firms have developed the different standards for the different Multi-threaded multi-core processors. The basic method is: to make multi-core processor collaborate and communicate between the various cores, in order to increase the processor speed and performance. And the consistency between the core and the main memory is an important communication mechanism. Therefore to choose different solution based on the different demands of users is very important.In this paper mainly focus on multi-core processors on the communication technology .Designed a solution which based on the Linux operating system conditions, combined with today's mainstream XLR732 of RMI's chips to solve those problems on the communication between multi-core processors and multi-threaded multi-core processor.In this paper, the main work and contributions are as follows:First, elaborated the advantage and disadvantage of multi-threaded multi-core processors, as well as its trend, backstop technology and facing challenges.Second, did a research on RMI company's advanced products, XLR732 multi-core processors, which focused on its design, application architecture and relevant content.Third, the combination of multi-core processor communication mechanism of the nuclear design process of multi-core processor communication model;Fourth, based on available processor XLR732 several nuclear inter-communication program design, and several communications program design and analysis on how the different scope of application of a reasonable selection of nuclear inter-communications program.
