| We need accurate predication and evaluation of wireless signal's path loss and strength distribute during 3G network planning period. So Volcano model can be widely used in WCDMA system. It can accurately instruct us in network planning area.Now ray tracing model has been used in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and North America. But there're some error between predication result and actually result. The ray tracing model will play a more important role in the 3G network planning with the development of ray tracing model and digital geography technology.This document mainly introduces the feasibility and essentiality of ray tracing model. Then it compares the traditional propagation model and other ray tracing model with Volcano model. Finally it researches the parameter configuration in different scene. The biggest creativity of this document is combining the uses of ray tracing model with actually adjustment of wireless network. It gives us the opinion of the application of predication result. |
