E-commerce is advancing at a staggering speed and its associated activities are increasing activate. As a result, a host number of heterogeneous e-commerce systems are constructed in the enterprise. But at the same time, issues have arisen over the high cost of system maintenance, low efficiency in resource utilization and data sharing. Besides that, potential security issues for business data are grapping people's attention too. Those problems restricted the development of enterprise e-commerce seriously. Therefore, Enterprise Payment Gateway is constructed to tackle problems in traditional payment systems, archive the payment application integration with less risky and cost, and guarantee the unity and security of online payment transactions. Web services have great advantages in across firewall communication and systems integration and become the key technology in the construction of Enterprise Payment Gateway.Firstly, the status of e-commerce and online payment of enterprise and existing issues are discussed. Based on this, the overall requirements of the Payment Gateway are analyzed with a combination of the current status of Payment Gateway Platform within a global IT company, and the system architecture based on the web services is proposed. Then the subsystem design of the online payment service, the message bus service, the risk management system, the fraud check system and the security management mechanism are discussed in detail. The discussion focuses on the integration of third-party services by utilizing web services and the XML formatted objects model.
