Ajax-based Click-stream Technology, As Well As In E-government Applications

With the rapid development of the Internet, previously mainly focusing on the science-using of the foundational web service is turning to the extensive web service primarily focusing on leisure and amusement , e-government and e-business, penetrating into the whole human society. Meanwhile, more and more person begins to study the pattern and characteristics in person's online behavior. By analyzing person's behavior surfing on the Internet, we can get many useful and interesting tips, for example, we can get more pointed application concerning the users now surfing on the Internet, boosting the individuation level of the web application. Therefore, it is very useful and important to study the web users' behavior's acquisition, classification and analysis.This paper works mainly on these subjects in the field as follows:Firstly, on the foundation of adequately underlying the basis of click stream, including the concept, function and principle of click stream, bring up an Ajax-based click stream collecting system. This system uses another method to collecting users' click stream data, differentiating from the 'traditional' clickstream collecting of using web server logs, comparing with the traditional method, this system can get more detailed granularity data of user behavior, including person's click behavior, double click, selection behavior, resize behavior, print behavior and so on. Using this method, we can get people's behavior in immense abundance.Secondly, based on the data we get using the method mention earlier, we construct a clickstram database in the server side. Using this database, we bring forth several analysis and statistic method, trying to including user behavior pattern in the web page. From these patterns we can build support decision systems and other useful information, for example, user tracing through the whole session, UI default detecting, whole time audit, user interest analysis etc.Thirdly and lastly, we apply the clickstream system to an E-government realm, using XianFeng "Egovenment 4.0"software as platform, trying to build personalized, intelligent E-government software, and give the whole design architecture and implementation.Meanwhile, this clickstream system and used in other web-based systems, comprising news portal system, information retrieve system, online teaching system and so forth, in order to improve the intelligence level of the system.
