More and more systems have been established with the development of campus information construction. Information systems became the integrant base establishment of teaching and research, and the IT service is more and more instantly needed. Most state key universities have founded special department to carry out IT service. They usually plan and implement it under the guidance of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library).Campus IT Service Management System (CITSMS) is the basic system to help IT service department carry out the service. It includes main elements of IT service, standardizes service workflow, provides service intendance, and ensures service quality. New management system, service and criterion come out with the information construction. CITSMS should have high security, compatibility, stability, extendibility and quickly develop ability.A layered, modularized and lightweight system model of B/S structure is designed, and eService version 2, the CITSMS of Fudan University which is based on the model, is introduced. The main work and contributions are in the following points:1. First, analyzes the contents and characters of IT service management, and proposes system requirements and characters under the guidance of ITIL.2. By the analysis of system requirements, puts forward the B/S structure system model which is layered, modularized and lightweight, and introduces the components and their functions.3. Through Java EE 5 platform and Struts2, Hibernate 3 open source framework, makes the detail design of the model, and introduces the detail design and implement of some core components.4. Designs and implements several key module of eService v.2 according to the model. Finally, summarizes the model and makes a prospect to it. By the model, we can agilely extend the functions, evidently reduce develop workload, speed up develop, reduce maintenance cost. This model can be applied in all of the campus IT service department, and adapted to requirements of different campus by simple localization. It can also be extended quickly according to new requirements, and significantly improving the efficiency and quality of IT service management.
