Facing the coming of new century, China is in a key stage of development. As both a capital city of Southeast coastal area and the pilot city in media industry, Hangzhou is developing the new media with most typically like Traffic TV Station, Mobile phone newspaper and Building TV etc beyond the traditional such as like newspaper, broadcast, TV even network, which is obvious to all. Up to Dec of 2007, there are more than 40 cities in our country to apply mobile TV in traffic system one after another. As the newly arisen industry, Traffic TV AD market has huge potential. It is characterized by wide coverage and forced receiving. The advertising profit is the main source of income. The total investing on Traffic TV AD of 2007 is around 4 billion RMB. It will promisingly increase to 6 billion in 2008 and 10 billion in 2010.This paper will understand the present situation and developing prospect of Traffic TV Station -a case study of Hangzhou, focusing on the analysis of audience, content, effect and industry value etc.In line with the Realistic principles, the research in practical operation will be the main purpose of this paper. The case analysis on Hangzhou Traffic TV Station will be the major meanings of writing.
