The traffic situation of every base station of mobile communication company concerns the quality of wireless communication of this area. A lot of factors lead to the fact the base station go wrong and it must be controled for 24 hours everyday, once go wrong and deal with right now, the ones that guaranteed the communication network of this area are normal. Otherwise it will cause influence to local communication, will also confuse people's normal life and work when being serious.Now Yuncheng mobile communication corporation is monitoring the traffic of base station by using OMCR of Alcatel, this system can realize the macroscopical monitoring of every base station working state. This system stores the data in the database after finishing the download of data, then change the data over to excel report form through manual intervention, utilize the formula confirmed in advance to sort out and analyze the data, in order to judge the working state of the base station. With use cellphone subscriber constant increasing of number, communication also do in double and redouble volume of traffic, network maintenance and optimizing working to increase in a large amount. How to control and analysis of the traffic information of the base station has became a key technological link among work at present. There is more manual intervention in whole job of system by using OMCR of Alcatel, causing the work load of staff members to be relatively large, the accuracy of the data is apt to receive the artificial interference. How to realize the automation to the traffic data receiving , analysing and processing immediately and put in network maintenance and optimizes become a subject in front of workers .This text investigate and analysis every key technology that controlled to the traffic of base station in further, and has realized a traffic monitoring system of base station with practical value on this basis. This software mainly includes functions such as traffic controlling, data instant analysis, graphical display of base station situation, base station information management,etc. System download the traffic data of this area base station from host computer of Taiyuan every 1 hour, then clear up and change the data automatically, and then carry on analysis right now. If it find there are some wrong parameter with the base station, at once to call the police with this base website for being red to glimmer at the base station map, remind users to get rid of the trouble or optimize the base station. Compared with OMCR of Alcatel the system has improved working efficiency at double, and has reduced the work load of staff members. This system can also carry on the base station parameter to optimize, such functions as the playback of the historical data is inquired, make it more automatic and humanizing to the management of the information of base station.This thesis also described the design of this system and development course in detail. We go on strictly according to the soft engineering principle in this software development, carry on demand analyzing at first, then outline to carry on software design, go on encoding and testing finally in detail. After being tested strictly ,it can be proved fit users' requirement basically, then be given to users to use.The coming using of this system has changed the working way that the communication company controls and analyzes about the traffic data of the base station, make analysis and treatment to the traffic data totally automation, even be get the result of nobody on duty through expanding the system. The system has improved working efficiency by a large margin, and has liberated the productive forces. As mobile communication at present develops swiftly and violently, this system should have very good popularization and practical value.
