| In 2008, China begins its 3G age. With mobile telephone gradually becoming richin functions, mobile telephone users are no longer satisfied by just calling, sendingshort messages,taking photos and listening to music by their phone,they also usemobile telephones to watch TV,thus making a hot and popular topic of discussionsamong mobile telephone users.The first chapter introduces questions and the purpose of study and alsosummarized existing research on mobile telephone TV in China.In the second chapter,the concept and the features of mobile telephone TV areintroduced,including its characteristics of both media and communication.In the third chapter,the current situation of mobile telephone TV in China isanalysed.Analysis are mainly focused on the technological level,mobile phone TV'scontent,operating situation and business modes,especially the stimulate function of the2008 Beijing Olympics brought to mobile phone TV.The forth chapter addresses the problems that mobile phone TVfaces,including:mobile phone TV technology remains to be further improved;theexisting broadcasting patterns have restricted the development of mobile telephoneTV;the high price have restricted the increase of mobile telephone TV consumers;thepolicy restriction has affected the development of mobile telephone TV,etc..For all the problems, countermeasures are provided in Chapter Five.In order toaccelerate the development of mobile phone TV,it is suggested that y the regulatoryauthorities and system must be clarified,the price problem resolved as soon aspossible,and more users be attracted with better service and content. |
