| When "Blogs" became the focus of the world in 2005, Postcasts, Video Blogs and Video Sharing just made their first appearance in the same year. Three years later, these new technologies and concepts set a new area. YouTube now is the most important key word in the Web 2.0 definition. Meanwhile the internet video service were reported to be the top three internet usage in China and many Chinese video sharing websites caught people's eye with high page views and a lot of issues which had serious social impact.This article briefly reviews the development of the Chinese video sharing websites and tries to explain how these websites run, how the content get generated and how the users share their videos and interests by applying Goffman's Social Dramatic Theory.This research also studies on the reasons of the prosperity of the Chinese video sharing websites, the potential problems troubling the whole country and the possible path of the future development and management in this industry. |
