With the development of internet technology, IPTV (Internet Protocol TV) is not a new word now. It becomes an extensive application on multimedia. But the development of IPTV is limited by expensive patent expenses. In order to free from the constraint of the patent expenses in audio and video encoding/coding, our country has issued our own audio and video encoding/coding standard AVS (Audio Video coding Standard). There is not any mature Commercial AVS IPTV at present, because the AVS standard did not come into effect until March 1, 2006. And in many key technologies of AVS IPTV, graphics display technology is essential. It not only provides human-machine interface for IPTV system, but also provides running platform for IPTV Browser. So the design of this embedded graphic system is very important to the AVS IPTV. And it also has major significance for the promotion of independent AVS standard.In the implementation of AVS IPTV, the main research work of this thesis is design and implement of the graphic system which is distributed on two different operating systems on AVS IPTV, including some key technology, such as reliable data communication between the two OS.This thesis analyzed the key technology of existing embedded graphic system, combined with the characteristic of AVS IPTV, and then discussed how to implement a new distributed graphic system that running on two OS and can communicate reliably each other, including design of distributed frame, graphics engine on ReWorks, communication device driver and implement of Chinese Input.The paper has offered the intact, reliable, high-efficient graphic display solution for AVS IPTV, and made its process of industrialization go on smoothly. The graphic system has extensive application value and marketing foreground because it is flexible and easy to transplant.
