Bijie area owns many good qualified, extensive distributional luxury ingredients, such as Dafang's Tianma, west Guizhou province's Eucommia, Jinsha's Tremella, Zhijin's Qian dangshen and so on. Therefore Bijie area was praised as "a land of authentic ingredients." According to the region census of 1980s Chinese medicine resources, Chinese herbal medicine resources in the region total reserves of 1.77 million tons, and the region has 172 kinds of production of the key national survey of 368 major species, accounting for 47.3 percent. Chinese medicine resources in this region, there are many distinctive ethnic medicine resources, particularly Miao medicine, Yi medicine, Buyi and other races' medicine are particularly striking.In order to meet the Chinese medicine modernization development planning of the Bijie area, improve the region information management level of Chinese herbal medicines, fully tap the resources of the region for the production of Chinese herbal medicine processing and scientific research, display characteristics of the region's rich resources of herbal medicine externally. And this area has offered an information exchange platform for herbal medicine cultivation and processing enterprises and individuals to expand its visibility and competitiveness in the market. Unify integration of resources,and establish the Bijie Chinese herbal medicine information system.UML is the extensive use of visual object-oriented system modeling the standard graphic language. Based in Bijie Prefecture of Chinese herbal medicine information system design, discuse how to use UML modeling of the system. Discuss the needs analysis in the design process and static and dynamic models, make full use of its characteristics of package, inheritance and polymorphism to coordinate the information systems for management of the external environment of Chinese herbal medicine, besides bring great convenience for inquiring and managing Chinese herbal medicine. The idea of using modular to make models has established a good user model and structural model and better descript needs and functions of Chinese herbal medicine information system. Through the establishment of systems, integrate resources in Bijie Prefecture of Chinese herbal medicines, display characteristics of the region's culture of Chinese medicine, provide Chinese medicine professional information retrieval services, and establish Chinese medicine in the region in the integrated information platform.
