IPv4 protocol becomes less capable to fit the demands of the Internet with the developing of the Internet. As the IP protocol of the next generation, IPv6 protocol will replace the current IPv4 protocol ultimately. But IP is the basic protocol of the Internet. So there will be a long period for IPv4 to migrate to IPv6. And during this period the two versions of IP will coexist. For inheriting the resources in IPv4 networks and the smooth transition of IPv4/IPv6 networks, capable and reliable technologies that can be used in communication between the two different networks. So the research of the technologies used for communication between IPv4 networks and IPv6 networks becomes very important for theory developing and very useful for practical application.Dual stack, tunneling and NAT-PT are the three primary technologies used for transition from IPv4 to IPv6. This paper focus on research about technologies of NAT-PT and tunnel then put forward a implement method about combination of NAT-PT and tunnel IPv6 multiple networks based on Linux Netfilter. This multiple networks system both inherite the IPv4 network resource well and implement the smooth transition between IPv4 network and IPv6 network.
