| IPv6 has become one of the core standards of next generation network protocol. But the transition from IPv4 to IPv6 will not accomplish in an action and they'll coexist in a long period. How to gradually and smoothly transit to IPv6 is a problem that must be resolved.I have developed IPv6 protocol stack based on Vanlink router system, and developed IPv4/IPv6 tunnel. The research study was carried out on the transition technique from IPv4 to IPv6, which is comprising the following parts: (i) introduction of IPv4 and IPv6 and the transition technique from IPv4 to IPv6; and (ii) introduction of tunnel technique from IPv4 to IPv6; and (iii) introduction of TCP/IP network model; and (iv) development; (v) test; (vi) more research of IPv6. |
