With the rapid development of Internet in the world, network application, especially the application of multimedia video conference and distance learning, utilizing multicast can save a large amount of bandwidth while transmitting the multimedia data more. However, it will cause more and more serious congestion problem. Multicast congestion control is necessary in avoiding congestion collapsing and ensuring fair competition in bandwidth with unicast. And it is assure that the control of imported communication flow can achieve the balancing situation between avoiding loss of packets and high throughput of network. But we need to consider the congestion shaking, stability of system, of the nodal occupancy volume of buffer of the network while controlling. While the stability of system, it can prevent the lost of data packets caused by shaking, and can raise the throughput of the network system by utilizing rapidly when the network usable bandwidth increases.Because of its enormous complexity, the research of congestion control can't already satisfy the formal subjective analysis method. In abroad, the research in congestion control has basically turned to strict mathematics dynamics analysis, controlling and optimizing theory analyze existed congested steady state and dynamic performance in order to design a new one congestion control algorithm with the aid of nonlinear kinetics method. We have put forward the new design methods which sent the single speed driven in end and sown more of the congestion control, and use the modern control theory and method: Schur-Cohn criterion and Routh-Hurwitz stability judgement method, to discuss how utilize single-rate-based that multicast congestion control method to sow more letter source end sending speed regulate nodal, and to make letter source end sending speed prone to the area to be steady, and to branch node buffering occupancy volume tend towards stability nodal.Results show that these congestion control designs make the function of internet prone to be steady and be in a good state.
