Random signal radar is a radar using microwave noise as a launching signal or modulation signal form. Compared with traditional radar, Random radar signal not only has an excellent ranging and gun capacity, also have excellent performance of LPI and EMC.It may also meet military and civilian areas of special requirements. Noise FM radar system which not only has the monotonous, rapid decline of closing the gap, and its excellent anti-jamming performance and the high precisiothen to the close target, performances better than other radar system.First we work on the noise FM radar principle, and then in mathematical analysis of the radar system noise FM signal processing. The system uses the method of the spectrum comparison,as the average ambiguity function is the ideal "pushpin" type. The spectrum of echo mixing with the launch signal leakage increase in width with distance wider. Signal processing in the distance has the result of a sharp cut-off of the curve,so the system has a strong anti-interference capability. The noise radar system need a microwave noise emission sources, no matter what method is used. The merits of microwave noise emission sources in the noise radar system is very important. So we must meet performance requirements of the sources in order to implementating the further signal processing. In this paper,we focused on microwave noise source for the theoretical analysis and hardware production. According to the theoretical analysis, noise modulator is worked on and producted. After VCO is designed and modulated, the nois modulator with the video noise regulator VCO.Integrating and commissioning the system,we eventually work out the microwave noise source.
