The construction of the Management Information Systems is the basic way to realize modern enterprise management, which is a system engineering, integrating computer technology and network information technology. Advanced, useful, and effective enterprise management systems are adopted to every procedure and class of the enterprise management, which improve the management environment, lower management production cost and enhance the competition capacity of the enterprise; the smooth degree of the currents of the products, commodities, capital, and information is improved, which makes the operational data more accurate, timely, overall and concrete. In the meantime, all kinds of information is processed to be the abundant evidences of the decisions of the production and management for the leading class of the enterprise, which is more scientific for creating more chances for development; MIS is good for scientific, reasonable, systematic and standard management, leading the management level of the enterprise on a new step, and being a fixed foundation of the continuous, healthy and stable development of the enterprise.Besides, this article makes a careful research on the process and the principles of MIS which bases on component, and analyses the approach of design. When we develop MIS by using components, OOA/OOD and software architecture are necessary. When the architecture of system is ascertained, we can choose or develop components to implement the system and then put the new components into the component base for reuse. We use the concepts of software architecture during the process.In this thesis, a management information system is designed and implemented. It adopt the three-layered structure design of the ASP.NET technology which is characterized by its high efficiency,flexibility and expansibility . This design is able to provide administrators and decision-makers with multi-leveled information service. Taking the security of network information into full consideration,this system makes use of the well-developed security technology which reliably safeguarded the MIS network information.
