In this paper, the principle of Adaptive Optics and its component and some kind of real-time wave-front reconstruction method was introduced. The principle of the direct-gradient wave-front reconstruction method, which is well developed and is used stably in practical work, is analyzed detailed.The source of the centroid detecting error of the Shack-Hartmann wave-front sensor and its effect on the measurement precision of the system are analyzed in detailed in this dissertation. A brief and applied method is proposed to improve the centroid detecting error of the Shack-Hartmann wave-front sensor.In this dissertation, the numerical simulation procedure of the adaptive optical system is also set up preliminary. The mathematical model of the influence function of the actuator of the deformable mirror and its effect on the correction capability of the adaptive optical system are analyzed. The analysis of the effect of the subaperture configuration of the Shack-Hartmann wave-front sensor on the compensation effectiveness of the adaptive optical system is presented. Furthermore, the effect of the alignment error between the wave-front sensor and the wave-front corrector on the correction capability of the adaptive optical system is analyzed.For the practical adaptive optical system, a composite wave-front sensor with the engineer and practicality value is designed to use to measure of the wave-front error and diagnose the quality of the beam of light for the laser. This composite wave-front sensor is also used for the closed-up controlling of the whole system.
