High-power microwave in space technology, environmental protection, scientific research and military fields has demonstrated a broad application prospects. High-power microwave weapons are normally the energy, high-power microwave generators, high-gain antennas and other ancillary equipment. Microwave weapons use high-gain directional antenna will be strong microwave generator output of microwave energy gathered in the narrow beam, so powerful microwave radiation beam directly or destruction of anti-personnel goals. Because of the repeated high power microwave frequencies too low, and high-power microwave weapons can not be completed quickly at the same time target tracking and attack missions.The paper gives a discussion of the application on the high power microwave diplexer, and the rf structures of diplexer in radiating systems for high power micro wave applications are systematically studied by mode field matching theory. The field distribution and eigen modes in the parallel plate waveguide is analyzed, field expressions are presented for space and parallel plate waveguide, the program that can draw diagram of filed matching has been programmed in this paper. By analyzing a periodic array of grating with a rectangular cross section, it's found that change the shape and dimension of grating could get the duplexer in radiating systems for high power microwave applications. Then, the influences on the thickness of grid, the width of the cycle of the grating, and the angle of incidence of the plane wave which affects the reflected and transmitted power of the plane wave are analyzed by current program. Finally, x-band high power microwave duplexer is optimized. The grating cycle length of the diplexer is 1cm, and the cross-section shape of grating is isosceles triangle. The high of the isosceles triangle is 0.5cm, and the width of the bottom edge is 0.4cm. The diplexer in the 8 GHz to 12GHz to achieve its objectives and tracking and sharing of high-power microwave launch an antenna, closer to the realization of low-power source in total reflection tracking, high-power microwave sources in the entire transmission. To further analysis and design practical high-power microwave lay the foundation for diplexers.
