Secondary Radar Of A Type Of Ground Interrogator System To Achieve

ATC secondary radar is also been called ATCRBS (ATC Radar Beacon System) or SSR(Secondary Surveillance Radar),which is refers to Secondary Radar, and it is important part of modern ATC system. Secondary Radar is widely used in the field such as ATC ,IFF and beacon tracking etc.This text will explain one complete Secondary Radar Interrogating System as per practical project appliance. The ground interrogator will do the interrogation as on the encoding format of M1, M2, M3/A, MC and using requirement. After receiving the reply signal from airborne transponder, the interrogator will test and decoding the reply signal and identify the friend or foe of the aircraft. And the information such as code, altitude, position, special position reply signal, emergency reply signal etc. will be sent to friendly aircraft. The ground interrogator has the function of ISLS. The antenna dual RF channel will transmit RF interrogation signal and receive the reply signal from transponder. With erasing non-synchronization interference signal from other interrogator, the ISLS function will be processed. The replay signal will be decoded. The compound video signal will be provided to the display. After decoding the processing video of the interrogator, the plot information of the reply signal will be reported. The ground interrogator has flexible interrogation mode control. The mode interchanging can be controlled through local control on processing unit or remote control on control box.
